Travelling

The tram lines 6 and the extension line 16 run from Kröpcke station with destination Messe/Ost (EXPO-Plaza) directly to the IdeenExpo entrance Messe/Ost. From there, a short walk across the Expo Plaza leads directly to the IdeenExpo site and the halls. The route is signposted. It is not possible to enter the IdeenExpo via the North or West entrances.

The Kröpcke station is only a five-minute walk from the main railway station. Please note: You CANNOT reach the exhibition grounds on tram line 8 (terminus Messe/Nord).

Please note: You can only get to the evening events via the East Entrance 3.

The North and West entrances are closed for the IdeenExpo.

You can also get to the exhibition grounds by S-Bahn, line S 4. Get off at Laatzen station. From there it is about a 20-minute walk to the South 1 side entrance.

Both the Metronom and the erixx will stop at the Messe-Laatzen station during the IdeenExpo.

From the west

A2 direction Hannover/Magdeburg/Berlin, exit 48 junction Hannover-Ost onto A7 direction Kassel, exit 58 Hannover-Anderten onto B65 direction Hannover, junction Seelhorst onto B6 (Messeschnellweg) direction Hannover-Messe.
